Sustainability
Jossois is committed to its sustainability stance with the aim of providing well-being internally and externally. This commitment to the entire community is transferred to a perspective of global benefit.

Photovoltaic solar panels
Jossois has made considerable investments in photovoltaic solar panels that allow us to self-consume around 60% of our total energy consumption.

Hand dryers
Use of energy-efficient hand dryers to minimize paper consumption

IT System
It sends documents through an electronic system, also to reduce paper consumption and pollutants from transportation.

Recycling waste
Waste is properly separated and sent for recycling

Water purification
Water purification system for internal consumption, to reduce the use of plastic, since each employee has been given a glass bottle

Green Dot Society
Green Dot Society member.

Fleet of electric cars
The company already uses electric cars in its fleet in order to reduce the impact on its ecological footprint

Recycled fabric
The fabric used by the company comes from recycled materials where 1kg of yarn is made up of 10kg of plastic and a 2.5x2.5mt cover is equivalent to 633 1.5lt bottles.

Recyclable fabric
Olefin fabric is 100% recyclable. Olefin is made from one of the easiest materials to recycle, once the useful life of olefin is over it can be re-melted and molded into new products up to 9 times before going for energy recycling

Electric forklifts
The company uses electric forklifts to maneuver its goods, which has a positive impact on its ecological footprint

Environmental certification
The company is currently preparing to implement environmental certification, a differentiating factor among its peers, increasing its awareness of its concern for the environment

We believe in community support through practices that can develop social value and we believe that corporate action can be fundamental to the well-being of society.

Anita
Anita is an association with the aim of providing an adapted transport service for people with reduced mobility and Jossois offered parasols for the institution's facilities

Santo Adrião Cultural and Social Center
The Santo Adrião Cultural and Social Center is an association and IPSS that develops socio-cultural and recreational projects to support children and the elderly. Jossois has donated bags to transport the clothes

APPACDM Braga
APPADCM Braga is an IPSS of public utility that arose as a response to the difficulties experienced by groups of people with intellectual disabilities and incapacities. Jossois gave away umbrellas and parasols for use on the institution's premises

Vieite Elementary School Parents' Association
The Vieite Elementary School Parents' Association is organized by parents and guardians and Jossois gave them parasols to use in the school grounds

Braga Oeste School Group
Jossois donated parasols for the use of the space at the Braga Oeste school grouping.

Father David Social Center
The Padre David Social Center takes in children who are orphans or have families in need and Jossois offered umbrellas to the institution's children.

Dreams and a Smile
Sonhos e 1 Sorriso is a company that sells various office products and works with people with intellectual disabilities and incapacities. Jossois buys products necessary for her daily life in order to support this company's cause
